Three decades at the heart of engineered wood

Shenyang Haobainian Wood Industry Co., Ltd.

Yang Zhigang founded Shenyang Haobainian Wood Industry Co., Ltd., the predecessor of Bondia Wood Industry Group. The company focused on the R&D and production of multi-layer engineered wood flooring, with export business from the very beginning under the brand name Bondia.

At that time, solid wood flooring dominated the domestic market. Bondia specialised in engineered wood flooring instead, importing high-quality logs from the United States, Russia, Myanmar and Africa to produce premium veneer for engineered floors. The group also set up supporting equipment companies and introduced advanced floor painting lines, upgrading the surface coating technology of engineered wood flooring in China.

The Hunnan industrial park

Bondia built its industrial park in the Hunnan Economic Development Zone, Shenyang — 100,000 square metres, with 40,000 square metres of workshops. Full sets of wood processing and log drying equipment were imported from Germany and Italy, reaching an annual production capacity of over 10 million square metres of engineered wood flooring, one of the major engineered wood production bases in China.

• Overseas: products exported to the US, Canada, Japan, South Korea and Europe. Bondia served as the top global supplier for a Canadian hardwood flooring brand, and supplied large hotel projects overseas including the Shangri-La Hotel in Las Vegas.
• Domestic: honours including China Top Brand, China Well-Known Trademark and Top 20 Enterprises in the Flooring Industry, alongside a nationwide dealer network built around engineered wood flooring as its core product.

An advanced, proprietary backing technology

Bondia launched its landmark backing technology, a patented flagship innovation. It adopts a bionic honeycomb structure with matrix holes on the back of the board, improving stability and reducing noise, with low noise and easier formaldehyde release — developed specifically for northern China's heating environment, and still the most well-known technical highlight of Bondia engineered wood flooring.

Positioning: multi-layer engineered wood flooring with precious wood veneer, good stability and deformation resistance, suitable for both residential and commercial projects.

Dedicated after-sales service & diversification

The group diversified with subsidiaries spanning wood industry, marketing and decoration engineering. Its flooring line grew to include laminate flooring alongside engineered wood, which remains the foundation of the brand. A dedicated after-sales service system was launched for floor installation and support — the same standard of service that carries through to every Bondia project in Singapore today.
